Erickajoy Daniels building inclusivity at the Milwaukee Athletic Club

Erickajoy Daniels identifies as a builder, literally and figuratively.
With her signature pink tool belt, she builds home furniture as a stress reliever, a skill she learned from her late father. Career-wise, Daniels is passionate about building up people, communities, and organizations.
For nearly nine years, ...Daniels was a diversity, equity, and inclusion executive at Advocate Aurora Health, now Advocate Health. She left that role at the close of February to build her own coaching and consulting business. She's also building at the Milwaukee Athletic Club (MAC), where, as the organization first Black female board president, she's helping transform the historic club into an institution thats more diverse and reflective of the city as a whole.
"It's an opportunity," Daniels said. "We're positioned in a city that's also in the midst of...Anything that EJ is involved in is going to bring benefits to this community," Prince said. "Erickajoy's parents named her appropriately; she brings joy to every conversation that you have with her. ...Once she gets involved, her heart wraps around it, and she just is the best at what she does."
